Check out the sweet sounds of the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 in this video from NM2255 Car HD Video; a GoPro camera was placed near the exhaust tips so you can hear the pure exhaust notes of the 5.2-liter V10 engine as it roars.
The 2015 Huracán (pronounced ooo-rah-khan), as demonstrated in this video, makes 610 hp at 8,250 rpm and 413 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm, according to Lamborghini. The engine design is both direct and port injected for optimized efficiency on every firing. Timing is variable on all four cams, offering amazing benefits, including a that 50-hp peak power boost and a torque increase of 15 lb-ft. 75% of that torque is available from 1000 rpm – very impressive for a naturally aspirated engine.

If you’re wondering how this Lambo sounds so sweet, one of the contributing factors is a variable intake sound generator that pumps intake noise into the interior, and a dual-exhaust mode that opens up under heavy acceleration.
Does it handle as good as it sounds? Well, let’s just say the Huracán may be Lamborghini’s most technologically advanced vehicle, and part of that is its advanced chassis dynamics system that allows you to modify performance settings with the ANIMA switch on the steering wheel. Cycle through Street, Sport, and Race modes to see changes to throttle, dampers, transmission response, stability control, all-wheel drive, exhaust noise flaps and variable steering.
According to Popular Mechanics, changes are informed by technology inspired by aerospace, Lamborghini’s Piattaforma Inerziale, which utilizes accelerometers and gyroscopes to measure acceleration side-to-side, front-to-back and up-and-down, as well as roll, pitch and yaw. Information is then relayed to a computer that adjusts variable components.
